Song of the Crimson Flower by Julie C. Dao is a captivating young adult fantasy that reads like a movie. The writing is wonderful! The author starts the story out slow and gradually picks up the pace making it hard to put down. The characters are mysterious and vivid with intriguing backstories that slowly come to light at just the right time to make the story easy to get lost in. Song of the Crimson Flower is an engaging young adult fantasy that is sure to stay with you long after reading.
