My thoughts
The Mountain is a fast-paced read that is full of fantasy and mystery making it a short story that is easy to get lost in. The characters are well developed with creative backstories that mesh perfectly with the plot. Watkins has written an extremely entertaining read. The only negative about The Mountain is that it is a really short story. I would have enjoyed reading more about these characters and their story. Overall, a fun enjoyable read. ** I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
