Also, Adriana co-owns a production company, Zombot Pictures, in LA that has made three feature films in three years. Her first acting scene in a film ever was with Danny Glover, and she was terrified she would mess it up. In addition, her favorite food is pizza and she has too many cats. Website Goodreads
My thoughts: I became a huge fan of Adriana Mather after reading How to Hang a Witch. When I found out there was a second book, I knew I had to read it! HAUNTING IN THE DEEP takes you right back to Salem as you experience another suspenseful and intriguing read. Samantha is still in the middle of a love triangle and all the drama that surrounds the three of them. In this novel, Samantha takes us along as she discovers more mystery and history about her powers with many twists and turns along the way. There are new characters that are introduced, along with your favorites from the previous novel. Mather’s has out done her research and it shows as she weaves her family history along with historical facts into her writing making everything feel so realistic and vivid. You can close your eyes and see exactly what she is describing. I was drawn in from the beginning and became more hooked with every page. I simply could not put this down because I had to know how it would end. There is mystery and suspense that will have you second guessing from page to page with just enough chemistry from a love triangle to keep you questioning the outcome. Overall, an amazing read that I highly recommend! ** I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
