I usually like more then one book and add extra books in my box for $9.99 each additional book. This is a really fun book box for an amazingly low price of $14.99 a month (additional books $9.99 each).

Since We Fell by Dennis Lehane was published May 8, 2017. I really enjoyed reading about Rachel and all of her battles in life. The story starts out with Rachel battling her very controlling mother over information about her father. From there Rachel suffers from agoraphobia but finds security in the love of her life. Lehane puts everything (backstories and all) out there for the reader to devour and get lost in. You will find this to be a great read that you will not want to put down.

SYNOPSIS: Since We Fell follows Rachel Childs, a former journalist who, after an on-air mental breakdown, now lives as a virtual shut-in. In all other respects, however, she enjoys an ideal life with an ideal husband. Until a chance encounter on a rainy afternoon causes that ideal life to fray. As does Rachel’s marriage. As does Rachel herself. Sucked into a conspiracy thick with deception, violence, and possibly madness, Rachel must find the strength within herself to conquer unimaginable fears and mind-altering truths. By turns heart- breaking, suspenseful, romantic, and sophisticated, Since We Fell is a novel of profound psychological insight and tension. It is Dennis Lehane at his very best.

About the author: Dennis Lehane (born Aug 4th, 1966) is an American author. He has written several novels, including the New York Times bestseller Mystic River, which was later made into an Academy Award winning film, also called Mystic River, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, and Kevin Bacon (Lehane can be briefly seen waving from a car in the parade scene at the end of the film). The novel was a finalist for the PEN/Winship Award and won the Anthony Award and the Barry Award for Best Novel, the Massachusetts Book Award in Fiction, and France’s Prix Mystere de la Critique.
