- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 box german chocolate cake mix
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 8ox package softened cream cheese
- 1 box powdered sugar
- ½ cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease bottom of 13×9 pan.
Mix pecans and coconut, sprinkle in bottom of pan.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Pour mixture over coconut and pecans.
Mix vanilla, cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter until smooth.
Spoon over cake batter.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
No frosting is needed.
